How do I get my 2000 Chevy Blazer to stop Squeaking?
Q. I have a 2000 chevy Blazer and had the ball joints, tie rod ends and shocks changed but the thing still squeaks like rusty bed springs when I hit the slightist crack in the road.. I cannot find any grease fittings underneith. What am I missing?

A. sound like it could be a bushing problem you have several bushings under the front, if your sure the noise is coming from the front here are some possible cause's . control arm bushings the sway bar links and the swar bar bushing also the shock's have bushing's . have a machanic spray some good lub on these's bushings, also us some greese in this bushings sometime's the bushing's get dry and need lubed, good luck!!

Q. My friend drives a 2000 frontier and Ive been searching for info on this and pretty sure they've got the M226 (d44) rear end, I know its six lug but Im not sure on the bolt pattern. A. 15 by 6, also, your friend doesn't have a Dana 44 rear end in that truck - unless it isn't stock. Depending on if it is 4WD, it could be either an H233B rear or if 2WD, is is possible that they put the smaller R200 in it.

A. You should worry about putting too much torque on the rear subframe tearing it out on the already-weak model that you have. Google "E46 subframe" and you'll understand. The 2000 328ci has the highest rear subframe failures among all the E46 models. It's a defect which BMW will work with the dealer to resolve should it happen to you. But with you adding mods to increase power, they may not be too willing to help when it happens. The defect was eliminated from the 2001 model onwards. The longitudinal engine arrangement exerts torsional force to the rear differential via the drive shaft. A. for the most part, there isn't that much difference. 2003 added some new features and enchanced some existing ones. But from a learning standpoint, if you take a course on excel 2000, you won't be confused. The menu options, etc. are pretty much the same . Since it's a free course, what do you have to lose.

How do you connect a windows 2000 computer through a wireless vista computer to the internet?
Q. I'm trying to connect my windows 2000 desktop to the internet but the router is in a different room. I was thinking I could connect an ethernet cable from my wireless laptop to the desktop and bridge the connection. Any help on how I can do that? A. One of the nics, either the laptop or desktop may work as an auto crossover, so try the ethernet cable and see if you get link lights on both ends. Otherwise, you can buy a little crossover adaptor that will fit on the end of your ethernet cable to convert it to a crossover cable.

A. It's pretty easy to miss a couple of these things.I'm going to infer that you're hacking for "legal" purposes here, but the 3000 I know for sure has a microphone. The microphone is a tiny little hole next to the volume buttons. And the 3000 has the Sony logo for the Home button, while the 2000 only has the word "Home".

At the time, my highest Reading and Math scores combined gave me a score of 1370. 1370/1600 is in the same basic range as 2000/2400. I didn't get into my top choices (Swarthmore and Haverford), but I did get into Claremont McKenna, which is currently ranked as #11 by USNews. I was waitlisted at Carleton, which is currently ranked as #8. I ended up going to Macalester, which is currently ranked at #29 (because a bunch are tied for #25, which is where it usually is). i loved macalester. A. The late model VW automatic transmissions have a special proceedure to add fluid to the transmission to refill it once it has been drained. This is the reason that the VW has a "lifetime" automatic transmission fluid. You cannot just drain and refill the transmission; the transmissions use a Volkswagen only supplied fluid for starters; the proceedure requires usage of the VAG diagnostic scanner, running the engine until a certain temp is reached then having the transmission suck the fluid in. The proceedure takes about an hour or so to do, depending on the air temperature and the temp of the engine. A. There is only one way to change all of the transmission fluid in any vehicle, and that is a transmission flush. Most flush machines either use the transmissions own fluid pump to provide the pressure to flush the unit. The alternative is to remove the transmission pan, clean everything (go ahead and replace the transmission filter while you are in there) then reassemble and add fluid. The problem with a pan drop is that you only really replace about 3-4 quarts of the 8-10 quarts in your transmission. The other 5-6 quarts of fluid are in you torque converter, valve body and lines and cannot be drained out without extensive disassembly. A. Your not going to burn 2000 calories on a treadmill. Do some research man and lets get something strait. It will probably take 4-5 hours for your treadmill to say 2000 calories by jogging and then it will just be the treadmill saying it, not reality. Cardio machines always overestimate how many calories you are burning. Also, only a fool would want to lose 4 pounds a week.
